General principles
- All maths runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to us.
- Money is rounded only for display, not in intermediate steps.
- Where a rule is complex (payroll tables, lender norms, private contracts), we say so and use a documented simplification.
- Financial formulas such as loan payments use the standard annuity formula PMT = P·r / (1 − (1 + r)−n).
Known simplifications
Salary and ZZP tools assume one employer or one sole proprietorship, no fiscal partner effects and a person below State Pension age. The maximum-mortgage tool uses approximate lending percentages, not a specific lender’s model. Astronomy tools use low-precision algorithms accurate to a fraction of a degree. Clinical tools reproduce published scoring tables.
Where results may differ from reality
Payslips, tax returns and offers use tables and individual facts we can’t see. Differences of a few tens of euros per month in net salary are normal.
